A guest post from Frankie :)

Such a big weekend, I had to break up the bloggy posts into a couple different ones haha
This, however, totally deserves it's own post anyhow :) A guest post from... Frankie!

Yesterday, I woke up and wanted to go on a Field Trip...

"Mommm take me somewhere today Puhhleasee!"

So what is a good mother to do? Take her baby with her on errands of course! Love my mom!

This time instead of my usual spot in the carseat, I decided to sit in the back window like a cat hahaha??

Off to Lowes we go... I love it there, I always see someone I know!
Plus my two fave uncles work there, lol  :)

What a good boy, right in the buggy guarding my mom's purse! :)
(Yes I say buggy, chris makes fun of me, what else is it called? a cart? doesn't sound as cute!?)

After almost 3 hours at Lowes buying goods for the flip house... I am dying of a thirst when we get back in the car, so what else is there to do besides drink my mom's ice water .. duh!!
So Spoiled!

We get back home... and I believe I got the best present of the day!!! Perfect for Summer!

Bahahahaha A Baby Frankie Pool :)
Love it!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Engagey Party!

On Friday night we had an engagement party to go to... one of my best friends, Stephanie, will wed her love this October on a cruise! Our friend Kelly's parents were gracious enough to host an engagement party for Stephanie and Levi and it was beautiful! Great food, people, location! We all had a blast!

Girlfriends since the ... 5th grade...? I believe?? Wow, I feel old kind of? Haha. <3 you ladies!

Kelly's parents have the most awesome outdoor area you have ever seen... you literally feel like you are at Drake's (non Lex friends, Drake's is our favorite fun place to eat and hang out!) Let me show you a little of what we enjoyed that evening...

Is that the most amazing outdoor area you have ever seen? Obsessed. I would never go inside the house!

Loved the flowers in the pool... perfect touch Sharon! :)

Ok if you like Cucumbers... and alcohol...you need to know about this! I am not a huge drinker, like maybe a beer every now and then... I am not a fan of Vodka or anything grossy like that...but this drink was UNBELIEVABLE! "Effen" Cucumber... AMAZE! Next time you are at Drakes you HAVE.TO.TRY.ONE! Not an option. They are sooo yummy!!! It is safe to say it was the hit of the night! I don't know what's in it (and I wouldn't give it away anyway Mark haha) but all I know is you need one. Soon. :)

Stephanie and Kelly, with Sharon (Kelly's mom) who was the perfect hostess!

A few more pics from the evening...

Jenna and her oh-so-cute baby bump! It's a girl! :)

Lindsey & Mason

Leah & Jed (who may have cracked me up the most that night, Jed was OOC haha)

Eric & Chrissy (cutest Godson, Connor's, mommy and daddy)

BFF :)

Mark & I (Kelly's dad, love him, great night, thanks again!)

Love my girls!

Chris & I (not sure what happened to my hair by this point, vom! ignore ha!)

By the end of the night, Chrissy was OOC, and here are two pics to prove it... ;)

And then in the car... hahahahaha she got attacked by a lint roller....
A perfect end to a perfect night!
Congrats Steph and Levi! We love you!
Can't wait for the Couple's Shower... I better get to planning ;)

Re: RHWNJ from last blog :)

Looks like I saw this feud coming haha... look what I stumbled upon at the grocery this morning....

Excuse the yuck pic, my phone camera is not the best :(

The skinny on it is pretty much what I said yesterday... Teresa let the fame of the show go to her head, when her sister-in-law, Melissa, was asked to be on the show, she got mad and jealous and didn't want the spotlight to be on anyone else but her. So it has started a fight with their family and friends. Just thought it was kind of funny ... and that for those of you who are watching the show, you might have to run out and grab you the new Life & Style issue :)

PS. For those of you who watched the Bachelor and obsessed with Miss Emily like I did, I'm not so sure what to believe on this article...? I think I am still in denial of who she really is as a person lol she has me snowed! Poor Brad! :(

Happy Thursday!

Long time no talk!

Geez I feel like it is has been FOREVER since I have paid attention to my little bloggy (reality is only 6 days but danggg feels like a lifetime!)... Work has kept me insanely busy!! (Not complaining, love that houses are selling and people are buying!)

This will be a bunch of randomness, apologizing now for it. I have so much stuff to cram in :)

First and foremost, a funny real estate story that unfortunately for me is a true one...
I was in desperate need of new summer wedges, like major! So I went to Aldo in the mall (first time I've been in there I guess I have been under a rock apparently but they have super cute wedges). I found a really cute pair... don't you agree?
I thought to myself, these are kinda tall, but I can handle them. I go meet BFF to show her and her husband houses, as soon as she gets out of the car, she judges them ha (thanks Chrissy) and I know she thinks they look like stripper shoes but I thought they looked summer'ish AND I had them on with skinny jeans, not a skanktified short skirt or anything. To make it even better, she doens't like them but her husband did hahaha (which means obviously they looked a little stripperish I guess). THEN I go to my next scheduled showing to another friend and her boyfriend (Ellen I hope you are reading this). I have now had these shoes on for over 9 hours and it's starting to get a little hard to walk, feet are hurting, but I am trooper and need to break them in. As soon as we walk outside to the back patio of the house (mind you it is bricked and I am going to say a little unleveled to make myself feel better), I totally bite the dust and fall flat on my face! Lovely! Does that instill confidence that your Realtor is professional? Probably not hahahaha thank goodness they laughed it off and lucky for me today he made an offer on the house!!!! Yay Kevin! :)
Moral to the story, cute shoes but... must.learn.to.walk.first ;)

Next topic of discussion... we had a garage sale last weekend! It was insane, I got 3 hours of sleep the night before in preparation for this thing. Neighbors probably thought we were hoarders but I just had so many clothes and toys and nonsense to get rid of and I can't stand all this crap everywhere so I decided if it hadn't been touched in 4 months, it was GONE! We did pretty good, sold a pretty good amount of stuff (even though I sold things for $1 that probably cost me $50, oh well guess thats what a garage sale is all about.) The rest I am taking to consignment and then what does not sell there is going to the Southland Helping Through Him shelters I think :) I went all out with tables (thanks Carla for letting me borrow, and Chris for going to get them at midnight the night before ha!) and had everything organized by size, etc. I know my garage sale visitors loved my OCD!
Pretty neat and folded :) Helps them sell I think.

Before the garage sale I decided to go cash in all my change I had been saving in a jar for the last few months. OK people, if you have never used Coinstar at Kroger you are missing out!!!!! At first I was a little embarrased I won't lie. I thought people would judge and think "oh she's carrying a Louis but, broke and cashing in her change, what a freak" hahaha but truth of the matter was, I was kind of excited. Once I started pouring the change in there, I felt like I was at the gambling boat and on a slot machine! (Cathi you would have been in heaven lol) All my change (which Chris said would be $20-$30 ended up being...

Yep, that's right... $100. So excited! That is even after Kroger only took $9 I think for the "convenience" charge of not having to roll your coins and take them to the bank! Love it! Will totally obsess over saving more change so I can go back again! lol

Lastly, I am two weeks late on this but... the crazy biotches are BACK!

Which team are you on??

Team Teresa & Joe?                           OR                Team Melissa & Joe?

This one is really a toss up for me. Before this season I really liked Teresa. I felt like she had more than enough reasons to flip the table, be crazy, cuss Danielle, etc. But this year, I am just not sure about her. I think Melissa is a little provoking and has a lot to do with tearing apart the siblings...BUT I do feel that Teresa probably did ignore them when she was high flutin' with her new cookbook and reality show last year. I think I need to watch more before I can choose a team... How about you all??

Well I think that's it for this now... oh one last thing... in case you were wondering....

He's still as sweet as ever ;) <3

Your Safety - A Must Read!

I want to share a serious post with everyone, females especially, but male friends too :)

We had a fabulous speaker yesterday at our office meeting... A.J Gwyn...

(Yes, Chris was fabulous too speaking about Chris Jackson Property Inspections lol here's a little shot of him doing his thing... and he already had a new call today! Yay for him! Please click and be a fan of his Fan Page in Facebook if you have a sec, thanks for your support!)

Ok back on track,  A.J. Gwyn, founder & commander with the Southern Crime Prevention Task Force came to speak to the Realtors in my office about safety and what we do. I will admit, he looked exactly like he stepped off Law and Order: Special Victims Unit (which was great because he really grabbed my attention haha). I know most of you reading are not a Realtor (for those who are I am so glad you are reading and getting this info if he did not come to your office!) but this is really for everyone. With the economy being the way it is, there are people who are so desperate for money, desperate to feed their drug addiction, and desperate to just get by and live. Even though we all like to think we live in a perfect world, it is just not realistic. There are bad people. There are crazy people. And there are people who really just don't give a "you know what" about other people and their lives. A.J. gave us some wonderful tips, most are things that are simple, we just don't think of them every day. So I wanted to share with you some tips he gave that I wrote down and also some statistics and I pray they will reside in your mind, Lord forbid, should you ever need them! It is good to be aware!

1. If you are carrying Pepper Spray... Throw it Away!
You may not know this and I didn't either so don't feel bad, but pepper spray doesn't do the trick anymore. Several reasons, it is only good for 12 months then it expires, it is only 1% of whatever that chemical is called that is the harmful stuff, if you miss their eyes or they cover them up real quick, you are pretty much screwed. OC SPRAY is WHAT YOU NEED TO CARRY! I got some yesterday. It is much better, lasts up to 3 years, sprays a straight shot so it is easier, and it effects eyes and lungs, so basically if you have to spray and they just breath it in, it slows breathing for about 45 minutes (which is more than enough time to run and get the hell away ha!) You can not buy it at drugstores, must be an official police store I think. You can google it and find some near you I am sure.

This what mine looks like, and you don't have to unsnap the button to use it! It's awesome!

2. 85% of the time, your GUT instinct is right!
If you feel your gut telling you that you are in an uncomfortable situation, then remove yourself! Your gut instinct is very important. Our bodies and mind can help tell us things, it is our job to listen. Obviously this can not work 100% of time, so always be aware of your surroundings, but usually you can trust your gut and you will know when you get that feeling!

3. Always Make Eye Contact w/ Strangers
I learned this yesterday, it seems simple but I honestly had never thought of it before... when you make eye contact with someone it shows confidence. If someone can't make eye contact, usually they are lying, fearful, nervous, etc etc. So always try to make eye contact, even if you feel uncomfortable.

4. Keep People out of your Personal Space!
This is usually pretty easy for most people, because most of us don't like a stranger up in our space! ha! But realistically, it is very smart. Always keep 6-8ft between you and stranger, especially if you are alone. People don't need to get that close to you...and keeping that space gives you more time to react should you have to.

5. Know Where People's Hands Are
This is kind of a given, but try to pay attention to people's hands and make sure you can see them at all times. Just makes you more aware and alert of what they are doing.

6. Your Cell Phone Could Save Your Life
Everyone needs to put 911 on speed dial on your phone, or download the 911 App for your smart phone. A.J told a story about someone who had been robbed and afterwards was so shaken up he literlaly couldn't dial 911... and I am sure this happens a lot. When our bodies are full of fear and anxiety sometimes they can do weird things and then not do certain things we want them to. So it is easier to just be able to press one button and call 911 should you need to. I do not have an iPhone, but I googled it for you all and I think there is an App for it for those of you do have one...

7. Make sure your Smart Phone GPS is on when you're alone
Speaking of cell phones, if you have a smart phone then you have GPS on your phone. Go to your settings and figure out how to turn this on (maybe not all the time bc it will run your battery down quicker) but when you are going to be traveling alone, working open house, etc. This will allow the police to locate your exact loation through your phone, and not just ping it off a near by tower. I learned this yesterday too :)

8. Monday is the Most Dangerous Day
I know we all hate Monday's anyway lol but I also learned that Monday's are the most dangerous day of the week to be robbed, etc. Monday's are after the weekend, all the crack heads are coming down from their weekend buzz and getting desperate. People are at work, so most homes are empty. It makes sense. So just be aware and alert on Monday's when you go about your busy schedules!

9. Lock Your Doors When You Enter Your Car
This was a biggie for me... a lot of times when you are out at night you rush to your car and then once you're in you feel "safe" but if you're like me, you put your stuff in the seat, start the car, get out your phone, text, look at an email, make a call, tweet on Twitter, check the newsfeed on facebook, blah blah you get my drift LOL (sad but true and you know it!) Well this is a big fat NO-NO if you are sitting there with your doors unlocked. Perfect time for someone to come up and see you vulnerable. Lock your doors as soon as you get in. I know my car automatically locks once you start driving, and that's great, but the sitting in the parking lot before you start driving is when they need to be locked. Very good tip!

10. IF YOU HAVE KIDS or GRAND-KIDS...This is Serious!
This was a HUGE shocker to I think everyone in class yesterday, but right now the US has an average of 21 kids being abducted every day! WOW! So sad!
Only 1% of parents have their children's fingerprints at home, and less than 1% have their children's DNA sample at home. This could SAVE your child's life!

Yesterday we bought Child ID Kits for the kiddos. These are something I had never even heard of (don't judge, only started doing kid like living a couple years ago haha but catching on quickly) but maybe you haven't heard of them either so I wanted to share. We plan on doing them this weekend with the kids (I will find a way to make it fun for them even though it will only take 5 minutes!) But these ID kits can save their lives, Heaven Forbid something ever happen to them. They have a spot for a picture, fingerprints for every finger (comes with the ink), and a spot to swab your mouth and put the saliva on a chemically treated spot that holds your childs DNA for 15 YEARS! Unbelievable I know, but true. Also has a spot for their dental records, body scars or birthmarks, etc. They are fantastic!

Here is a sample, not the exact one I purchased but close and similar just so you can get the idea!
I am currently checking into buying these and sending as a gift to all my clients with children... that is how great I think they are. (The ones we purchased yesterday were $9 each, but I am sure prices will vary a little)

I know this was lengthy but I think it was worth sharing...And I hope you will forward this link to your friends and family... moms, wives, sisters, girlfriends, aunts, mamaw's etc etc!
Now that I have scared the poo out of everyone (hopefully not lol) I will share a quick couple prayers over everyone reading this for your safety....

"The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore."
Psalms 121:7-8

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14.27

"I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety".
Psalm 4:8

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

"But I call to God, and the LORD saves me".
Psalm 55:16

"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me".
Psalm 138:7

"Say this: "God, you're my refuge.
I trust in you and I'm safe!"
That's right—he rescues you from hidden traps,
      shields you from deadly hazards.
His huge outstretched arms protect you—
      under them you're perfectly safe;
his arms fend off all harm.
Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night,
not flying arrows in the day,
Not disease that prowls through the darkness,
not disaster that erupts at high noon.
Even though others succumb all around,
drop like flies right and left,
no harm will even graze you.
You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,
watch the wicked turn into corpses.
   Yes, because God's your refuge,
the High God your very own home,
Evil can't get close to you,
harm can't get through the door.
   He ordered his angels
to guard you wherever you go.
   If you stumble, they'll catch you;
their job is to keep you from falling.
You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,
and kick young lions and serpents from the path."
Psalm 91:1-13

What's even better is after the video, I was reading the comments and one guy wrote "all men from this point forward are f*cked" hahaha pardon the french, but that is funny! Love this video. A must see!

Don't forget to pause my playlist so you can watch the video!
Happy Tuesday Friends!

Toothfairy, Chumley's, Remodel & Wrestlers ha

What a slacking blogger I have been this week... work has been crazy, which is good because I LOVE that everyone is wanting to sell or buy a house right now :) And love even more that all my wonderful clients have chosen me to be their Realtor! :) Thanks everyone! I was thinking of re-capping the week with the things that stood out the most and here is what I've come up with... Enjoy!

The toothfairy came to our house on Wednesday night :) Ava lost her first tooth.... she was a little nervous but super excited afterwards because she wanted to see what "prize" she would get from the Toothfairy... $2 under your pillow just doesn't do it anymore people... The Toothfairy has to go out all with lipgloss, fingernail polish and some cash lol oh how things have changed... (sorry mom & cathi lol)

Speaking of sleeping, this seems to be why I can't get any lately...

Literally he is either all spread out, snoring, taking up the entire king size bed (when he weighs 5 lbs), or I wake up and he is sleeping on my chest, wrapped around my neck, and I am sufficating. How can I be mad though? Just look at how sweet he is ;)

So cute and cuddly! lol

Well the Chumley's are back. For those of you who don't know my BFF Chrissy (see below...)

Her and her husband have literally put their house on the market 565 times (exaggeration a little but not much ha good thing I love them!) and then taken it back off, but this weekend there is no more "boy who cried wolf" and they are really selling their house this time! Yay for me because that means I get to show them houses, which also means I get to see this little sweet Godson face everytime....

Love him. So precious!
Their house is a great starter home, Hamburg area, VERY cute ranch... here is a sneak peek if you know anyone who is looking... nice Family Room w/ Fireplace!

Very neutral and clean! Nice Area. Perfect for a first time buyer!

Speaking of houses... I also listed a house this week that is an awesome flip house done by a friend/client of mine. It is so crazy different from before and they did such a good job I had to show off the before and after pics for everyone to see!!

Before                                                     After

Before                                                     After

Before                                                     After

Before                                                     After
Are those crazy or what? Awesome Remodel!

One last item of discussion... Jake has decided on a "whistler" which is how he says the word "wrestler" haha theme for his 4th birthday party which will be in June... I know what you are thinking if you are a girl reading this... ughhhh! LOL because that is kind of what I thought but then I had to remember that this is his birthday party and he can have whatever theme he wants, even if it is a wrestler theme and we have never even watched the first wrestle match (is that what you call them?) on TV in our lives.... he just likes the little figure wrestle guys to play with I guess ha. Do you know how hard it is to have a "wrestle theme" bday party? So far this is all I can come up with.... what do you think?
These invitations that look like tickets to a show ? haha

Personalized Water Bottle Labels, and Candy Wrappers for the guests...

Lifesize Hulk Hogan Cardboard Cutouts to sit around the party area (cheesy? thought he would like that ha)

I found this cake we can have the fabulous Confused Confections kind of work their magic and re-make!

Can be made a little cuter probably but this will do for now lol

Then I also found a wrestle ring inflatable that you can box in... the kids will all love this! Everytime we rent an inflatable they are in heaven! :)

And that's it so far... hopefully I can turn a "whistler theme" into something fun and cute, and not a total trash bash hahahahahaha

Happy Friday!
